The Carolina Center for Public Service is accepting applications for Class V of the Thorp Faculty Engaged Scholars program (FES). This program is designed to help advance the engaged scholarship of Carolina faculty by bringing together selected faculty from across campus to engage in a two-year experiential, competency-based curriculum designed to advance their engaged scholarship. Scholars participate in sessions in community settings to learn from Carolina faculty and their community partners. Up to 10 faculty members will be selected to participate in this two–year program aimed at learning about and pursuing community engagement through scholarly endeavor. For details about the program, visit FES online. Applications for Class V (2014 -2016) should be submitted online through the CCPS Application and Nomination Portal by March 5.
