Ping Fu is the co-founder of Geomagic, a company that creates 3D software to customize product manufacturing, from personalized shoes to prosthetic limbs to NASA spaceship repairs. In 2005, Inc. named Fu Entrepreneur of the Year. When Fu came to America, she worked her way through school with no money and no knowledge of English. Then, in 1997, she co-founded Geomagic. Today, Fu sits on President Obama’s National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and she recently agreed to sell Geomagic to 3D Systems, where she now serves as the Chief Strategy Officer.
