All new course—totally revamped! Now there are two separate study tracks, one for point-and-shoots and one for DSLRs—separate in-class and homework assignments. You will learn about your camera and lenses; how to properly upgrade lenses and cameras for your type of photography; what aperture, shutter and ISO are, and how they interact. You will also learn how to use compensation to adjust for a better exposure under all lighting conditions; how to clean, care for and protect your lenses, camera, and its internal sensor. We will review homework images in class, focusing on composition and the art of storytelling. Photo assignments will include portraits, sports, action, landscapes, flowers, scenic modes and more. Q&A sessions make it easy for you to get specific answers for your photography questions. Additional materials fee of $15 for course materials, workbook, software and more is payable to instructor.
