The UNC Process Series in association with the Department of Communication presents Spoken Word/Spoken Justice, a three-day long festival of new long-form works featuring stirring solo performances by internationally renowned spoken word artists Kane Smego, Mohammad Moussa, Jamila Reddy, CJ Suitt, and Jaclyn Gilstrap, with a special skyped in appearance by recent Rotary Peace Fellow Will McInerney.

While in residence, UNC’s own Kane Smego will be holding weeklong workshops for graduate and undergraduate students. The festival finale will be an open mic performance featuring the work created by students during the workshop process.

As always, admission is free with a suggested five-dollar donation. Seats can be reserved on the Process Series website. http://processseries.unc.edu.   All performances are at Swain Hall Studio Six Theatre.
