Trip Van Noppen, environmental attorney and President of Earthjustice, has become widely known for his work in federal environmental policy.  Earthjustice is a non-profit public interest law organization dedicated to “protecting the magnificent places, natural resources, and wildlife of this earth, and to defending the right of all people to a healthy environment”.  Previously, Trip directed the Southern Environmental Law Center’s Carolinas Office.  For this seminar, he will speak about the challenges he has faced in affecting federal environmental policy and share the true difference one dedicated person can make.  Trip is a Carolina Law alum and former UNC Institute for the Environment Board of Visitors member.

This seminar is presented by the UNC Institute for the Environment and the School of Law.  RSVP at https://events.law.unc.edu/calendar/event.aspx?cid=2472.
