Description: Becky Brown was born in New York City and is the 2016-17 Visiting Resident Artist at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She works between painting, drawing, sculpture and installation using found images, objects and texts. Lately, she has been exploring different relationships between pairs of words in the English language: opposition, synonymy, formal resemblance and hybrid links.
